Joshua Cottrell is a paralegal servicing RAK's various pre-litigation, litigation, and post-judgment matters.
Josh was born in Cape Canaveral and raised in the Tampa Bay Area. After graduating Wharton Senior High School, Josh not only continued his education in college, but also enlisted in the United States Army in 2005.
During Josh's 11.5 years in the U.S. Army, he served as an infantryman, completed the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s Paralegal School, and then worked as a Paralegal Specialist, as a Noncommissioned Officer. He also completed various courses and trainings such as: the United States Army Basic Airborne Course, Basic Leader Course, Advanced Leader Course and Joint Executive Management Course at the Judge Advocate Generals Legal Center and School, among others.
After an honorable discharge in 2017, Josh installed IT equipment in Hillsborough County Schools. He returned to the legal field in 2021 as a member of the RAK Law team.
He is currently finishing up his Bachelor’s Degrees in Cyber Security and Organizational Management.
Josh resides in Temple Terrace, where he lives with his wife and daughters. He enjoys doing things in which his wife and daughters are interested.
