Kristine Chillura is the Operations & Development Director at RAK Law Firm, where she brings nearly a decade of legal and operational experience spanning litigation support, contract matters, and law firm development.
Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Kristine comes from a large, close-knit family who always told her she should become a lawyer—thanks to her love of debate and natural ability to argue any point with confidence. That early encouragement sparked a lasting passion for the law and laid the foundation for her career.
She earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and International Affairs from Florida State University in 2019, where she was consistently named to the Dean’s List. While at FSU, Kristine served as President of both the Women in Pre-Law Society and the Sports Analytics Club. Alongside her studies, she worked as a legal secretary at respected business and corporate defense firms, gaining early exposure to complex legal operations.
Her legal career began in the summer of 2016 as a legal secretary and intern at Brandon Legal Group. In 2018, she interned with the Florida Office of the Attorney General under Pam Bondi, conducting research on critical issues including the opioid crisis and human trafficking. Before starting law school, Kristine further expanded her experience by interning at a prestigious Tampa-based law firm that specialized in business and complex litigation, as well as corporate defense. There, she refined her ability to think critically, analyze legal issues, and assist in preparing for hearings and trials.
In 2020, Kristine began law school at Georgia State University College of Law on a scholarship, focusing on business and intellectual property law. She served as President of the Intellectual Property Law Society and Vice President of the Legal Analytics Association. Her academic achievements earned her multiple CALI Awards, recognizing the highest grades in both Copyright Law and Professional Responsibility.
During law school, she also worked as a law clerk at the Law Offices of Keith Altman, where she helped develop and streamline the firm’s intellectual property department. Her work included conducting patentability research, drafting Markman briefs, and preparing for Markman hearings—building a strong foundation in IP litigation support.
Kristine graduated from Georgia State University College of Law in 2024 and now leads business operations at RAK Law. In her role as Operations & Development Director, she oversees the firm’s day-to-day business functions, manages all billing processes, and trains legal and administrative staff on firm procedures. She reports directly to leadership and is responsible for designing and implementing internal systems that drive efficiency, accountability, and growth. Kristine brings a rare blend of legal insight and operational expertise to optimize performance and ensure exceptional client service. Her energy, precision, and leadership help foster a high-performing, client-focused culture across the RAK Law team.
Outside of work, Kristine enjoys live music and dancing, exploring Florida’s beaches and parks, and spending time with her beloved Doberman, Ruger.
